High-Tech Entrepreneurship Business Plan

You will be developing a full business plan using Dreamweaver, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat. There will be five parts to the project and each part will be reviewed and graded separately. I will be developing this important project as the semester continues. Each section will have a related rubric.

The first part of this project will be to create your home page template. You will "announce" your company on this page. Each team of two/three individuals is responsible for developing their own site. Collectively, as a team, you will develop a small e-business site that will serve as a portal to your business and connect to your marketing page. At no time will a student sit idle while the other team members work. You should invest in a thumb drive that will allow you to transfer files from one computer to the other without asking me how to get the work from point A to point B.

When we get to the promotional item that you will create for your business, each member must contribute a promotional item that will be saved and added to the site. Throughout this project, you will learn about business software including PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, and Podcasting. You can also incorporate music, and I will have a laptop equipped with music software for this purpose.

Each week, you will receive a list of vocabulary words that you will look up in your book and define. These terms should be used in appropriate places throughout your project.

As we work through my new thoughts on creating a business plan, your cooperation will be expected at each and every turn.
